post overalls cruzer shirt

Some articles of clothing are so sublime, I find it hard to contain my excitement upon discovering them
.

I’ve seen a recent departure from the traditional military/urban jacket to a more multi-purpose, soft fabric workwear, none more so than this two-ply cotton work shirt/jacket from Post O’Alls. Along with the similar Nigel Claiborne gingham shirt jacket, these brands are paving the way for a more purpose-related garment for the modern urban male.

Anyone interested in these shirts should buy me one, size Large.

Ribbon of Souls update

In the final stages of the tattoo design. Colours have been saturated to give more of a feeling of old skool sailor tattoos to correspond with the dark noir of Chris Lefler’s ‘Street’ tattoo on his other arm.

I imagine there will be more tweaking over the next month with possibly a character change or two (‘Are there too many naked women?’ I ask myself).

More BRUTE! Helmet roughs

More rough helmet designs for Bimmerworld racing team.

I first built a basic helmet shape in 3D (Poser 4) and then textured them with the artwork, taking snaps of the front, back, sides and top plus a three-quarter profile. Finally, in Photoshop, I cut and pasted them over the helmet line-art and photos supplied by the company.

Keep posted to see the final design evolve.

Loco!

Another from the vaults, this time from the collection of my friend and patron Robert Lee who commissioned this painting from me back in 1996-97.

He has since restored it to its former glory.
